Personalizing Your Home Page Content

  1. Click the Personalize Content link.

  2. Select the pagelets that you want to display on your home page.

  3. Click Save, then Return to Home.

  4. Select both Analyst Queue and Worklist to add them to your home page.

    Note that you can also create your own greeting, such as "Good Morning," in the Welcome Message box.

The Analyst Queue for CRM as well as the Worklist pagelet are added to your home page. To select different pagelets, select the Content link to redefine the pagelets displayed.

Personalizing your Home Page Layout

You can change the layout of your home page as well as your content.

  1. Click the Layout link to change the layout of your home page.

  2. Change the Basic Layout to 3 Columns.

  3. Select the Worklist pagelet and move it to the middle column using the arrows.

  4. Move the Analyst Queue to the far right column, by clicking the arrow twice.

  5. Click Save, then click the Return to Home link.

  6. You can now use your new home page. To change the appearance at any time, click the Personalize Links to change the content and layout.

You can also remove the pagelets from the Home page by clicking the X in the top corner of each one. The system confirms that you want to remove the pages, and that you did not click there by mistake.

Adding to My Favorites

You can use the My Favorites menu option to go directly to the pages that you use most frequently.

  1. Navigate to the Open Case Detail page, and then click the Add to Favorites link in the header.

  2. Click the Add to Favorites button.

  3. On the menu, click the My Favorites menu option to open your list. Your page is listed for quick access.

Using My Personalizations

  1. Click the My Personalizations link on the home page menu.

  2. Under Personalize Categories, International & Regional Settings, click the Personalize Option button.

  3. Set your local time zone from the drop-down list of options, and then click OK or, if the default is correct, click Cancel.

  4. Under Personalization Categories, click the Personalize option next to System and Application Messages. You will probably want to leave this default as it is, to warn you if you have not saved recent information. If so, click Cancel.

  5. Under Personalize Categories, Navigation Personalizations, click the Personalize Option button.

  6. Click the Explain link for Automatic menu collapse. This choice lets you set the menu to collapse when you select a transaction.

  7. Select Yes in the Override Value field to activate that function, then click OK.

  8. Click Return to confirm the save.

Note: After you set your personalizations, you must log off and restart for your changes to take effect.

Customizing your Worklist

Customize your worklist, as follows:

  1. Open your worklist, then click the Customize link.The Customize page gives you several options through the Column Order box and the Sort Order box.

  2. Select Notification Priority in the Column Order box.

  3. To move Notification Priority to the second column, click the column heading in the Column Order box to select it, and then click the up arrow to move it to the second spot in the column order.

  4. Click the Preview button to see how the new display will appear. If it is acceptable, click OK.

Your new sort order shows the Notification priority in the first column. You can further select to sort this column first to make it easier to find P1s, P2s, and P3s.
