A case can be opened within 14 days of being closed. If this happens and you go down to the Solution section, you do not have the option of searching for new solutions. How do you then begin to work on a reopened case? Do you have to go through the solution component, and then attempt a solution?

Yes. Follow these steps:

1. Change the status of the case from Closed to Reopened.
   
   
2. Then Fail the Successful Resolution by clicking on the button.
   

Now options for searching for new solutions show up again.
