If a PeopleSoft issued cell phone has become damaged or is no longer functioning properly, a replacement phone can be requested. Manager approval is required for all PeopleSoft issued cell phone replacements.
To request a replacement cell phone:
- Open
NorthStar (http://northstar.peoplesoft.com).
- Click the
Log Service Ticket link in the Submit Tickets section in the left hand navigation panel.
- Click the
Communications radio button and click
Next>.
- Click the
Telecommunications radio button and click
Next>.

Please specify the type of your request: Click the down arrow and select
Cell Phone.

What type of help do you need?: Click the down arrow and select
Broken/Replacement.

Subject: Type

Need to get a replacement for my cell phone
."

Description: Enter a brief description as to what the problem with the current phone is.
- Click
Next>.

Current Cell Phone Number: Enter the cell phone number including the area code.
Service Provider: Click the down arrow and select either
AT&T or
Sprint.
Shipping Address, City, State, Zip: Enter the address the phone should be shipped to, the city and state it is located in and the zip code in the appropriate fields.
Note: All phones are shipped express delivery and require a signature at delivery so the address listed should have someone available to sign during the day.
- Click
Finish.
The request has been submitted. Your manager will receive notification of your request and will have seven business days to
approve the replacement request.

Manager
declines or more than 7 business days have passed: The request for the replacement cell phone will automatically be canceled.

approves request:

AT&T: You will receive an e-mail message with a link to the PeopleSoft AT&T order form. A User ID and password will be provided in the message. When the site is accessed the following message will appear
"This site is not to be used to get replacement units. Please call
800-388-3235 to get a replacement phone." Call the phone number listed to process the request.

Sprint: You will receive an e-mail message requesting that the following is e-mailed to Sprint:
- Recipient's name
- Cell phone number
- Employee ID and Department number
- Shipping address
Once the provider has received the appropriate information, the replacement cell phone request will be processed. The phone shipped within three business days.
