Have voice mail notify your pager of new messages

Document number: 82012

You can have your voice mail outcall to your pager and notify you when you have a new message. To take advantage of this feature, your pager must have an area code of 209, 408, 415, 510, 916 or 925 or a toll-free number beginning with 800, 866 or 877. Pagers outside these area codes are not eligible for the outcalling feature.

Note: If the area code of your pager is different from the area code of your voice mail number, the call to the pager must be a local call.

Enabling this feature is a two-step process: First, you enable the pager. Then, you set up the forwarding schedule.
