How to use MCI's audio conferencing service

Document number: 82005

MCI premiere/standard audio conferencing should be used only for large calls with more than 50 participants. MCI conference calls are charged back to your department.

Note:

MCI Instant Meeting audio conferencing is for employees outside the U.S. and Canada only.   U.S. and Canada employees should use Sprint as their personal audio conferencing solution.

  1. Contact your local MCI Conference Center. For information, see Eureka! document 81031 - How to get support for MCI Instant Meeting Audio Conferencing for a list of phone numbers by country.
  2. The operator will need to know the conference leader's name and a passcode for all the participants to gain access to the call. The passcode can be alpha or numeric.
  3. Next, the operator will need the date, time, number of participants, and the duration of the call. Approximate the information as close as you can; MCI charges an over-booking fee.
  4. Give the operator your department number and employee id for billing purposes.
