To use the conferencing feature on your Rolm phone, first determine which Rolm phone you have:

• Model 612 has one row of feature buttons

• Model 624 has one long row of feature buttons and two short ones

To conference with Model 612, do the following:

1. Once you have the first party on the line, press the transfer feature button ( Xfer). You'll hear a stutter dial tone and then a normal dial tone.
2. Dial the next party (for example, 8-XXX-XXX-XXXX or 6-XXX-XXXX).
3. When the person answers, press the Xfer button again and the three of you will be "conferenced".
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until everyone is on the line.
5. If you get to someone's voicemail, you can press the Connect feature button to drop that connection and re-connect you to the other conference participants.

 To conference with a Model 624, do the following:

1. Once you have the first party on the line, press the transfer feature button ( Xfer). You'll hear a stutter dial tone and then a normal dial tone.
2. Dial the next party (for example, 8-XXX-XXX-XXXX or 6-XXX-XXXX).
3. When the person answers, press the Conference feature button and the three of you will be "conferenced".
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until everyone is on the line.
5. If you get to someone's voicemail, you can press the Connect feature button to drop that connection and re-connect you to the other conference participants.
