How to request an AccessLine account

AccessLine is a one number follow-me service that is currently available by request only. Management approval is required to receive an AccessLine account. Note: AccessLine is only available to users in the United States and Canada.

To request an AccessLine number:

  1. Open NorthStar (http://northstar.peoplesoft.com).

  2. Click the Log Service Ticket link in the Submit Tickets section in the left hand navigation panel.

  3. Click the Communications radio button and click Next>.

  4. Click the Telecommunications radio button and click Next>.

  5. Please specify the type of your request: Click the down arrow and select AccessLine.

  6. What type of help do you need?: Click the down arrow and select I need to request a new one.

  7. Enter in any relevant information in the Subject: field (such as " Requesting new AccessLine number"). You also have the option of entering any additional information it the Description: field. Click Next>.

  8. Enter the recipient employee number (this is the employee number for whom you are ordering an AccessLine; if you are requesting this for yourself, enter your employee number.

  9. Enter your phone numbers for your office (the external dial number), the 800 number you use to check your voicemail, and your cell phone.

  10. You also have the option to provide your pager, fax, and home office number.

  11. Click the Finish button.

The request has been submitted and will be routed to Voice Data Operations for resolution.
