How to request a password reset for the Cisco CallManager web site

If you cannot remember the password needed to access the Cisco CallManager web site, a request must be submitted via NorthStar for it to be reset.

To submit the NorthStar request:

  1. Open NorthStar (http://northstar).

  2. Click the Log Service Ticket link in the Submit Tickets section in the left hand navigation panel.

  3. Click the Communications radio button and click Next>.

  4. Click the Telecommunications radio button and click Next>.

  5. Please specify the type of your request: Click the down arrow and select Phone.

  6. What type of help do you need?: Click the down arrow and select I have an issue.

  7. Subject: Type " Need password reset for Cisco CallManager ."

  8. Description: Type " I have an IP phone and need my password reset so that I can use the Cisco CallManager web site."

  9. Click Next>.

  10. Location: Click the down arrow and select the location that the IP phone is located.
    Building: Click the down arrow and select the appropriate building.
    Room #: Enter the office number.
    Floor: Enter the floor where the office is located.
    Jack #: Enter the jack number that the IP phone is plugged into.

  11. Click the Finish button.

The NorthStar ticket will be logged. You will be notified by Telecom Operations when the password has been reset. Once the password has been reset, it should be changed.
