How to log on to the Cisco CallManager for the Cisco 7940 IP phone

The Cisco CallManager for the Cisco 7940 IP phone is where the configuration for the telephone can be modified and items personalized such as speed dialing or call forwarding.

To log on to the Cisco CallManager:

  1. Open a browser and go to http://callmanager/ccmuser.

  2. The log on screen will appear and the status should say "Ready."
    • User ID (required): This is the your first initial and last name. For example, the User ID for Trudy Test would be ttest.
    • Password (required): This is the 5- or 6-digit default password you were previously provided.
      It is strongly suggested that the default password is changed the first time the CallManager is accessed. For additional information, see Eureka! document 81020 — How to change the password for the Cisco CallManager web site.

  3. View page in: The page will display in English by default. To select a different language, click the down arrow and select the language preferred.

  4. Click the Log On button.
