If you have lost or forgotten the key to the padlock that locks your computer onto your desk:

• Corporate employees
  • Inform your manager of the situation. The manager will have to authorize any action that may need to be taken.

  • Once your manager knows and has given you his or her contact information, you may inform Security at extension 45555 of the situation. They will be contacting your manager for their approval of any action they may need to take. You may also need to show a picture ID when they arrive at your office.

• Regional employees: Regional Offices will need to contact their FieldOps department by filling out a NorthStar Ticket or contacting Technical Support Operations .

As Dave Duffield has said, if a PeopleSoft computer gets stolen and it wasn't locked down - the person will have to pay for the computer, so even if you are the forgetful type, it pays to lock down the computer.
