Conference rooms in the PeoplePeople Directory

The PeoplePeople Directory version of the conference room information includes the phone numbers for the conference rooms, where available. The capacity (number of persons) for the room is also specified there.

To get to the listing, open the PeoplePeople Directory in Lotus Notes. On the left side of the screen, click on ConferenceRooms-PLE to see that view. Please note that PeopleSoft Plaza in Pleasanton is no longer used by PeopleSoft. For instructions on viewing conference rooms in Headquarters Building G, click here.

The rooms are listed by building (except Building G). The listing includes the room and phone information for PS-West as well. Some of the conference room phones may be set on "Do Not Disturb" (DND) and will not ring in the room. The receptionist in the building may be able to call the room for you as well, but if the phone is on DND, no one will answer it.

Table of corporate conference rooms (HQ Buildings A-G)

The table below shows the locations of the conference rooms at PeopleSoft corporate headquarters in Pleasanton. Some of the rooms are currently unavailable due to various internal projects. The capacity (number of persons) for the room is specified in the PeoplePeople Directory listing.

All corporate conference rooms have network capability, but it is not guaranteed that any particular network port in the room is actually live at the time of your meeting. If you need network connectivity for your meeting, you should check out the room using your computer sometime before the meeting (give yourself some leeway in case there are problems) and make sure that the main network port (usually the one on the central table in the room) is working. Report any problems to Technical Support Operations.

The rooms listed in bold italics do not appear in the regular conference room databases, as they are reserved for particular groups' use only and must be reserved through that group.

If you need to know the location of a conference or demo room at a Regional Office, contact the site's Office Manager.

Finding HQ Building G conference rooms

Building G conference rooms must be viewed from the conference room database directly. The list is not available on the PeoplePeople Directory. To view the database:

1. Open your Lotus Notes calendar.

2. On the far right of the toolbar right above your calendar, click on the Reservation DBs button: .

3. Choose Pleasanton... from the dropdown list that appears.

4. Choose PS-HQ G from the list that appears in the Pleasanton Reservations box and click OK.

5. On the left side of the screen click on Rooms.

A list of the rooms in Pleasanton Headquarters Building G appears. Not all rooms may be reserved by all people. Some are rooms set aside for use by specific groups only. If a room is limited to reservations by a certain group, it may have instructions on how to request access to reserve the room. Double click on the room name to view any instructions that may be available.
