Current hardware standards for new computers are maintained at the Information Technology Community website. Here is a link to the standards document: http://planetx.peoplesoft.com/community/information_technology/it_documents/standards/2003_standards_catalog.doc. You may also navigate there on your own:

1. Log on to Planet PeopleSoft. See Eureka! document 15270 — How to log in to Planet PeopleSoft for more specific information.

2. On the left side of the screen, under the Planet Navigator heading, click on Communities.

3. On the Communities page, click on the Information Technology link.

4. On the Information Technology Community page, on the left side, click on Policies & Standards.

5. At about the middle of that page, click on the Standards link.

6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Distributed Computer Standards link. A PDF file should launch showing the standard computer specifications.
