ERROR: Cannot load dialog. Error 623... cannot be found...
Note: The legacy RAS (dial-up networking) and PeopleSoft RAS Connection Manager (also known as PSRC or PSRCM) are in the process of being retired. To standardize dial-up access, the integrated PeopleSoft company is deploying iPass and VPN as the dial-up solution. You may receive one of the following error messages when clicking on a desktop shortcut for a PeopleSoft RAS phone number after installing PS RAS Connection Manager:
Windows NT4: Dial-Up Networking : Cannot load dialog. Error 623: Cannot find the phone book entry.
Windows 2000: Desktop: Nameofconnection cannot be found.
Because the installation of PS RAS Connection Manager removes all PeopleSoft standard RAS phone numbers, the information in the shortcuts to these numbers will no longer be available. The shortcuts will no longer work.
Shortcuts to your personal connections should still be usable.
