ERROR: System cannot change your password now because the domain ... not available
Receiving the error The system cannot change your password now because the domain domainname is not available when you try to change your password on your computer indicates that your Windows 2000 machine is not logged onto the PeopleSoft network. You cannot change your password unless you are logged on the network.
To solve this problem, you need to make sure your machine is properly logged onto the PeopleSoft network. See Eureka! document 50017 — Verify that you have a valid network connection... for tips on checking your network connections.
