If you receive the message The network name could not be found or The network path servername\directoryname could not be found while trying to map a network drive, check the spelling of the name of the server and drive as you typed them and try again.

Tips:

• Remember that the server name MUST be preceded by two backslashes (i.e., " \\").
• The directory name must be preceded by a single backslash. ( \)
• What looks like an underscore (i.e., " _") in a server name may actually be a dash (i.e., "-"), and vice-versa.
