Note: As of October 7, 2004, Cisco VPN Client version 4.0.4(D) is the standard supported version of VPN client software. If you are on an earlier version, please update your software as soon as possible. See Eureka! document 54102 — Upgrade or install Cisco VPN Client software. If you would like to check your machine to see if the Cisco VPN client is installed, use these steps:

1. Click on the Start button.

2. Click on Programs.

3. Look for Cisco VPN. (Some installations may be located in Cisco Systems VPN Client.)

   • The Programs list is not always in strict alphabetical order. Be sure to check ALL entries on the Programs listing.
