How do I uninstall Palm applications?

There is no way to delete a single database from the delete functions built-in to the Palm.When you delete an application you also delete the associated databases.

To uninstall the application:

1. Tap the menu button from the main application list screen.

2. Select the App->delete menu item and the Palm will display a list of the applications and the memory each utilizes.

3. Select one of the applications by tapping on it and press the delete button to delete it.

4. This will delete the application and all of the databases that it utilizes.

How do I install Palm applications? .

1. First copy the application to your PC. If the application is in a zip file, use Winzip to uncompress it. see document 10034 — How to unzip a file with WinZip.

2. Double-click on any file with a .prc or .pdb extension. If the application does not have a .prc or .pdb extension you can use the Palm Desktop install.

• Start the Palm Desktop application on your PC. Click the Install button.

• Click the Add button.

• Click the application(s) you want to install. Click the Open button.

3. A box will come up that says the program(s) will be installed the next time you HotSync your handheld with your PC. Click OK.

4. Place your Palm into the cradle and press the HotSync button. The software is now successfully on your Palm.
