The message " Privacy. The privacy icon appears in the status bar each time a cookie is restricted based on your privacy settings. To see a privacy report, double-click the icon when it appears." is an informational message that first appears sometime after installing Internet Explorer 6. If you click the box for "Don't show this message again" you will no longer see that message. The purpose of the message is to explain the icon that appears in the Internet Explorer status bar when unauthorized files, such as cookies, are blocked.
