Windows cannot play the sound {file}. Your sound card may be in use.
If you get the error message " Windows cannot play the sound {file}. Your sound card may be in use. " or " Another application is playing audio. You can either interrupt the application or wait until it is done. Then try using Sound Recorder again. " you may have a sound conflict with another application. Close other applications that might be using the sound card. See Eureka! document 30004 — How to troubleshoot "sound" problems. Rule out particular software as the cause.
The error message " This Device Cannot Play" can occur if the driver for the sound card is missing or damaged. See Eureka! document 30004 — How to troubleshoot "sound" problems. Check sound drivers.
