Symptom:

The following error displays during Query output to Excel and nVision: The instruction at "0x268299e6" referenced memory at "0x0000000". The memory could not be "read".

Workaround:

1. Close all PS windows.

2. Open Windows Explorer.

3. Navigate to Apps > globalfinancials > bin > client > winx86.

4. Start Configuration Manager (program PSCFG.EXE).

5. Navigate to the tab named Client Setup.

6. Check the checkbox for the Install Workstation option.

7. Click the Apply button.

8. An error message will display alerting you that Setup directory was not found. Click OK to close the error window.

9. The following message will display: Workstation Installion Complete. Click OK to close the Configuration Manager window.

10. In Windows Explorer, navigate to PS > Cache.

11. Delete all sub-folders under the Cache directory (don't delete Cache itself).

12. Start PeopleSoft.
