Symptom
The following message displays when a user logs in to Customer Connection:
Customers and Partners
Due to new security requirements, your user name must be at least six characters. Please contact your PeopleSoft Web Administrator to have your user name reset to this new standard.
Cause
New security requirements were implemented with the Customer Portal. This alert was created to give customers and partners a friendly reminder that their logins need to be changed to meet the new login requirements.
Resolution
This is simply an informational message. This login restriction applies to customers and partners, not employees. Employees should be able to click OK, then continue into the Customer Portal.
If you are unable to log in to Customer Connection, create a NorthStar ticket or contact Technical Support Operations for assistance.
