Symptom:
ERROR: The Project's status "New" prevents additional transactions (9000, 225)

Cause:
You are trying to enter a Time or Expense report against a project that is not currently open. The project has been set up but has yet to be officially opened.

Resolution:

To resolve this issue you will have to contact the Project Manager or Project Administrator and have them change the project status to Open. This step can not be done by consultants assigned to the project. Detailed instructions for Project Managers to perform this step can be found in Eureka! document 17240 — Project Manager Workbench - Project Review and Status Update.

Once the manager has changed the status for the Project, you will be able to enter your reports immediately.
