Symptom:
ERROR: This project date is more than 7 days past your end date

Cause:
Time reports can only be entered against project where your project team assignment dates are no more than 7 days past. This error may also occur if you are trying to report against a project that you have just been extended on but you have not yet refreshed your control data. If you have been extended it is always a good idea to refresh your control data so that you have the latest project data to report against.

Resolution:

Click OK to close the message box.
Use the drop down box to access the calendar.
Select another period end date, or select another project to charge time against. If the user must charge against the project ID causing the error they will have to work with their manager or SCA in their region to have the project assignment date changed. Once the project assignment dates are changed, you must refresh your control data for the changes to appear.
