Symptom:
ERROR: Period End Date must be a Saturday

Cause:
Period End Dates for PeopleSoft time reporting is always a Saturday. Users will not be allowed to continue until they either manually type in a Saturday end date or selects one from the drop down calendar provided.

Note: When using the Copy Timesheet feature in MTE, if a user fails to enter a Saturday date, the following Saturday will be defaulted for the new time report. Example: If a user selects June 13, 2003, the period end date of June 14, 2003 will be defaulted. Before saving/submitting your Timesheet, ensure that the desired period end date has been used.

Resolution:

1. Click OK.

2. Use the drop down box to access the calendar.

3. Select the Saturday date for the week you are reporting for.
