Symptom:
ERROR: Resource Type is required. The Business Unit Options for this Projects Business Unit required that Resource Type is input.

Cause:
This error will occur if you are entering a time or expense report and your job code has not been set up in either Human Resources or the Projects applications. Your job code must have a resource type associated with it in order to submit any reports.

Resolution:
Contact Kelly Gray, Lea Knop and Robert Beebe in Finance via e-mail. The message should state that you are having a "rate by job code issue." To expedite resolution of your issue, be sure to include the following in your e-mail:

• Your GL Business Unit (e.g. PSOFT)
• Your jobcode (e.g. 2343)
• Your jobcode description (e.g. Staff Consultant).
