Symptom:

ERROR: The value for Time Reporting Code 'Floating Holiday - N. America' must be equal to 8. You entered x.
ERROR: The value for Time Reporting Code 'Paid Time Off' must be equal to 8. You entered x.
ERROR: The value for Time Reporting Code 'Sick Time - OUTSIDE US' must be equal to 8. You entered x.

Cause:
If you are a US or Canadian employee, you are no longer allowed to enter time for Floating Holiday, Paid Time Off or Sick Time unless it is for 8 hours. These types of Policy Time must be entered as 8 hours to get picked up by the HR Time Off Reporting process. This validation is in alignment with the PeopleSoft company policy for Time Off Reporting for North American employees.

Note: These error messages are received after the employee has entered a value other than 8 hours and clicked outside this field.

Resolution:
Click the OK button to clear the error message. The time entered will automatically be cleared from both the day and the total for that row/column. Enter the value of '8' in the appropriate field. You will now be able to successfully Save or Submit your timesheet.
