Symptom:
ERROR: You have exceeded the maximum limit for this expense type. Either you need to add more attendees, reduce the amount, or click the Comments hyperlink to enter an Amount Comment explaining why the maximum limit was exceeded.

Cause:
You have entered an amount that is greater than the maximum spending limit for the expense type selected.

Resolution:
One of the following resolutions must be used to resolve this error:

1. Add more attendees for the expense type.
   • You can either add a new attendee or use one from your Attendees List. For information on managing your Attendee's List, see Eureka! document 17307 — Customizing the Client.
   • Note: The naming convention for attendees is Last,First (no spaces).
     
     
2. Reduce the amount entered for this expense type.
   
   
3. Click the Comments link to enter the reason why you have exceeded the authorized amount for this expense type.
   

Click OK to return to the Expense page.
