ERROR: The Ticket Number you have Entered has Already Been Used...
Symptom:
ERROR: The Ticket Number you have Entered has Already Been Used. Continue Adding this line item to the Expense Report?
Cause:
Airfare receipt numbers are used to distinguish similar flights from each other. If you are working on an extended project and regularly fly between two or more cities, the flights will usually have the same flight numbers; however, the Airfare Receipt number for the ticket purchase will be different.
If you have entered an expense report through Mobile Time and Expense that does not have a unique airfare ticket number, you will receive this popup error message.
Resolution:
To resolve the error, you should select
No and re-enter the correct number in the
Ticket Nbr field. If you do not know the correct number and need to save the report until you can obtain the number, select
Yes to continue with your other expense lines. If you do not update the duplicate airfare number with the correct one before you submit your report, you will receive a submission validation email error message. You will then have to correct the airfare ticket number and resubmit your report to the online application.
