ERROR: Unable to interpret Time or Date
Symptom:
ERROR: Unable to interpret Time or Date
Cause:
After clicking
OK to save mail and/or calendar preferences, the error message appears and the changes are not saved. The error occurs because one or more of the entries specified on the Free Time tab in the calendar preferences is not recognized.
Resolution:
To resolve the issue, you will need to deselect the free time specified, save all other mail and calendar preferences and then re-save the free time preferences.
From the Inbox or calendar, click the Tools button from the action button bar.
Select Preferences... from the drop down list, click the Calendar tab (if in the Inbox) and click the Free Time tab.
Click in the box to the left of any day that is selected so that an "x" no longer appears.
Click OK.
Free time is no longer selected.
Save all mail and calendar preferences except for free time:
From the Inbox, click the Tools button from the action button bar.
Select Preferences... from the drop down list.
Set the preferences desired on all mail and calendar tabs excluding Free Time.
Click OK.
All mail and calendar preferences have now been set with the exception of the Free Time.
Set the Free Time preference:
From the Inbox or calendar, click the Tools button from the action button bar.
Select Preferences... from the drop down list, click the Calendar tab (if in the Inbox) and click the Free Time tab.
Click in the box to the left of any day that should have free time designated so that an "x" appears.
If a break is desired, separate the different sets of time with a comma. Example: HH:MM AM - HH:MM (AM or PM), HH:MM AM - HH:MM (AM or PM)
The Free Time preference should now be set.
If the error continues after following the steps above, open a NorthStar ticket or contact Technical Support Operations so the issue can be escalated to a Notes Administrator.
