The Lotus Notes error message "Error reading archive settings: Signer does not have the required access rights to the source database. The archive settings must be resaved to enable archiving" may occur when a user is trying to archive. Although the user has been able to successfully archive in the past, the error may suddenly appear. Resetting the archive settings does not resolve the issue.

If the error appears, contact Technical Support Operations so that the issue can be escalated to a Notes Administrator.
