ERROR: This program cannot be run because the program files are unavailable
Symptom:
The error message ERROR: This program cannot be run because the program files are unavailable. For more information, please contact your administrator or helpdesk operator occurs when you attempt to run an advertised program manually.
Cause:
The error is related to either (a) a configuration issue with the SMS client installed on your machine, or (b) communications problems between your machine and the SMS Site server.
Resolution:
To eliminate your machine as a possible issue in receiving the error message, please see the steps in Eureka! document 14110 — SMS advertised programs are not received or not installing.
