Errors due to missing forms or views in a Lotus Notes database
The following Lotus Notes error messages or issues mean that a critical form or forms were either deleted or altered in the database the error or issue occurred in.
If the error or issue occurs when working in a Lotus Notes database other than the mail file, the Database Manager should be contacted. Inform the Database Manager what was being done and which error message was received so that they can take a look at the design of the database and resolve the issue. For information on how to determine who the Database Manager is, click here.
If any of these error messages or issues occur when working in the mail file, contact Technical Support Operations for further assistance.
If the actual error message being received is "Invalid or nonexistent document," see Eureka! document 26080 — ERROR: Invalid or nonexistent document for additional information.
