Error: Wrong Estimated Close Date or Wrong Forecast Type
You are trying to change the status of an Opportunity forecasted in the past quarters to close, or you are trying to change the date of an Opportunity that was forecasted in the past quarters, and you are getting Wrong estimated close date or Wrong Forecast type error messages.
Opportunities are forecasted in Customer1 at the end of each quarter. Financial Controllers are the only ones who can change dates and status for Opportunities already forecasted in past quarters. If you need to make changes, ask the Financial Controller for the Region where the opportunity belongs to edit and correct the Opportunity for you.
