What Types of Courses are in the Knowledge Center?

Use the Knowledge Center to register for online, self-paced courses. For information on scheduled courses, such as instructor led courses or Live WebCasts, log in to EdWeb. There are basically three types of courses available in the PeopleSoft Knowledge Center:

All three course types require the Authorware Web Player (a browser plugin). The Seminar courses also require the Media Player plugin. The Recorded WebCasts also require the Interwise Student Player. You should already have these installed on your machine. If you need to install any of these applications/plugins manually, see Eureka! document 18214 — How to install plugins for Knowledge Center.

I completed a Recorded WebCast. Why didn't the status change to "Complete"?

The Recorded WebCasts run using the Interwise Student Player, which doesn't communicate status back to the Knowledge Center. As a workaround, click the Complete status link on the download page to update the course status to Completed.
