How do I create an extension for nonbillable consulting services?
The requester should create an extension to extend time and/or increase the dollars for a worker. Six weeks prior to the expiration date you reference on the purchase requisition, you will start getting emails on a weekly basis telling you to extend your person. If the person's expiration date is outside of six weeks, but the dollars that were approved are spent, you will also start getting emails asking you to extend the person. In this circumstance, you will fill out the Service Request in eProcurement, check the Extension box and reference the PO number. Please note that failure to give this information will result in a delay in extending your contractor.
