All PeopleSoft employees have read-only access to Vantive. These instructions assume the Vantive client has been installed on your machine.

For information about Vantive installation instructions if you don't see step 4 below, see Eureka! document 70004 — Installing software application packages.

The Vantive user name is the employee's HR "preferred name".

To open Vantive:

1. Click on the Start button on the taskbar.
2. Select Programs from the choices given.
3. Select Vantive 7 System from the Applications list. This will open the Vantive login screen.
4. Your name should appear in the Name: box. If not, enter your HR Preferred Name. Your Login name is case sensitive.
5. Enter in your password and click on the OK button.

This procedure will start the Vantive program on your local computer.
