Time Reporting Changes in Canada

Document number: 17286

Effective April 15, 2003, PeopleSoft Canada Co. is implementing new time reporting activities for all consulting engagements in Canada. This process is required to accurately record time against the appropriate activity. Engagements in effect prior to April 15, 2003 will not be affected by this change. The old activity of "Consulting" will no longer be an option when recording time on any engagement that starts after April 15, 2003. There are 11 new activities that correspond to the different stages of the compass methodology.

During the past year, some of our customers have asked us to break down our time at a finer level and to identify the type of work done. These new activities will provide the vehicle for PeopleSoft to satisfy this request. These new activities will also help project managers in identifying areas where members of the project team spent their time.

Please review the table below.
