How to report personal and other non-project related time
Activities such as PTO, Floating Holidays, Vacation or Sick time, Jury Duty, etc., no longer require a project ID and activity in order to report time. On the lower portion of the Time Report page there are several time categories listed. Previously you were required to use a project ID to report this type of time. Now simply enter the amount of hours spent in these non-project related events in the fields provided.
For U.S. and Canadian employees, PTO, Floating Holidays, and Sick Time can only be entered in 8-hour increments. Partial days are not taken for these types of personal time. Please coordinate with your manager on how to report partial days.
If you enter hours for Jury Duty, Military Leave, Bereavement Leave, Time Off Without Pay, or Long-term Leave, you must also contact your HR representative so they can properly update your payroll information.
Additionally, since travel time is rarely billable to a customer, a project ID is no longer required to report non-billable travel time.
