The default size and location of the Sametime Connect chat window can be modified.

To modify the default size and/or location of the Sametime chat window:

1. You must have an open chat window in order to modify the default. If you do not currently have an open chat window, you can send yourself an instant message so that a chat window is open.

2. Change chat window location: Drag the open chat window to the desired location on the computer screen. This is where all new chat windows will pop up when they are received.

3. Change size of the chat window: Change the size of the chat window by clicking on the bottom right corner of the window and dragging your mouse to the desired size of the chat window.

4. Click O ptions from the menu bar of the chat window and select Set dialog as default from the drop down list.

The default size and/or location of the Sametime chat window has now been modified.
