If a user's free time schedule always shows busy in the Lotus Notes calendar, it is likely due to a repeat meeting spanning midnight. This means that the start date and end date are different. To resolve this issue, the meeting must be deleted from the calendar.

To delete the meeting from the Lotus Notes calendar:

1. Open the Lotus Notes calendar and click the Meetings view below the small monthly calendar.

2. Scroll in the view until the meeting spanning midnight is visible and single click on it.

3. Press the Delete key.

4. A pop up window that says, "Permanently remove the selected document(s) from the calendar?" will appear. Click Y es and the entry will be deleted.

When all meetings spanning midnight have been deleted, the user's free time schedule will appear correctly.

If the meeting(s) that spans midnight cannot be found, contact Technical Support Operations for assistance in locating it.
