Name resolution when composing a message in iNotes Web Access
Note: Lotus iNotes (Webmail) is currently in beta testing mode only and is not available to the general PeopleSoft population. The pilot is currently closed and is not being expanded to include additional users. Look for communications via OneVoice regarding iNotes (Webmail) in the future.
The automatic type-ahead feature that is commonly used in the Lotus Notes client is currently not available when composing new messages or replies in iNotes Web Access. A manual type-ahead check can be done or the PeopleSoft Directory or personal Contacts list can be used to address the message.

Although the type-ahead feature is not automatic using iNotes, the manual type-ahead check resolves the name very quickly as well.
To use the manual type-ahead check:
The name entered should be resolved correctly.

The PeopleSoft Directory or personal Contacts list can be used to address messages in a similar fashion to using them with the Lotus Notes client. A good reason to use this method is to ensure that the spelling of a user name is correct.
To address a message using the PeopleSoft Directory or personal Contacts list:
The name(s) will now appear in the field selected in the new message header.
