Application sharing in an Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) iMeeting
Sharing applications in an Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) iMeeting is an effective tool for performing demonstrations and showing applications so the participants can see them.

Note: The application sharing hot key combination must be set prior to sharing an application in order to toggle between the main iMeeting whiteboard and the shared application. If it is not set prior to sharing the application, toggling will not work.
A hot key combination can be set so that the presenter can end application sharing without having to toggle back to the main iMeeting whiteboard screen. The hot key should be set prior to activating application sharing.
To set the end application sharing hot key:
Select T ools from the menu bar and select O ptions... from the drop down list.
Click the Application Sharing tab.
End Sharing Hot Key: Enter a key combination that must include the {Shift}, {Ctrl} or {Alt} key as well in the window.
Click OK.
The end application sharing hot key has been set. All keys set must be held down simultaneously in order to easily end application sharing.

Any application that will be shared should be opened on the presenter's computer prior to activating application sharing. If the application is not open when sharing is activated, the desktop will need to be shared which could cause participants to see too much information on the presenter's computer.
To activate application sharing:
Click the App sharing tab.
Select an application from the list, then click Start Sharing.
The application will now be shared and all participants will see it.
If presenting rights are given to a participant while the presenter is sharing an application, the application will no longer be shared.
When the application is shared, the presenter sees a Dashboard appear in the upper right so that he/she can be alerted to raised hands, incoming notes and can switch back to the Interwise Participant.

During application sharing, the presenter can turn the audio on and off with the Speak button on the Dashboard.

Application sharing can be ended two ways:
From the main iMeeting whiteboard window.
Click the To Interwise button on the Dashboard to return to the Participant.
Click End Sharing.
The shared application will no longer be visible to the participants.
Using the hot key combination previously set:

Press the hot key combination set to end application sharing.
Click the minimize key (the underline _ key) in the upper right hand corner to go back to the main iMeeting whiteboard.
The application will no longer be shared and the main iMeeting whiteboard will be available.
