When a meeting invitation is opened in Lotus Notes, an invitee will see the buttons to Respond, Respond with Comments, Request Information or Check Calendar with regard to the invitation.

There are two instances when the response buttons do not appear when a rescheduled meeting invitation is received:

• Single-instance meeting: The invitee did not respond to the original invitation. The rescheduled invite shows the response buttons, but if the invitee opens the original invitation, no response buttons will be visible. The invitee should respond via the rescheduled meeting notice only.
  
  
• Repeating meeting: The invitee did not respond to the original invitation. The rescheduled invite does not show the response buttons. Once the invitee responds to the original invitation, the response buttons will appear in the rescheduled meeting invite so the invitee is able to respond to the rescheduled invite as well.

When invited to a meeting, whether a single-instance or repeating, it is advised that the invitee always responds to the original notice to avoid any confusion if the meeting is rescheduled in the future.

NOTE: A repeating meeting may be edited in the Lotus Notes one time only. When attempting to edit a repeating meeting multiple times, many errors or issues may arise. This is a known issue with Lotus Development and a solution is being worked on for a future update/release.
