How to add a delivery report to an e-mail message in Lotus Notes

Document number: 16111

Requesting a delivery report is a delivery option when creating an outgoing e-mail message in Lotus Notes.  By default, a delivery failure report is automatically generated for any failed outgoing message.

The following lists the types of delivery reports that can be added to a specific outgoing message:

NOTE:   Delivery reports may only be requested for mail that is routing internally within PeopleSoft with the exception of the Only on failure report which is the default.  Delivery traces for external mail will not go beyond the internal Internet mail servers.

Only one type of delivery report may be selected for each specific message.  Multiple reports cannot be delivered.  For information on how to change the delivery report type for a specific internal e-mail message, click here.
