Folder disappears when trying to add as sub-folder to Inbox
When creating a folder in the mail file, it can be created either as a main folder or as a sub-folder of another folder. A folder that has sub-folders within it has a section icon marker to the left of it. When the section icon is clicked, the sub-folders are listed and can be accessed. All folders created within the Inbox are considered sub-folders for the Inbox although the section icon does not appear.
The Inbox and Trash folders appear as folders that may have sub-folders created within them when creating a new or moving an existing folder. If either of those folders are selected, however, a new folder will not appear although it has been created and the existing folder will seem to have disappeared.
To resolve the issue of a new folder not appearing or an existing folder disappearing when moving, please contact Technical Support Operations so that the issue can be escalated to a Lotus Notes Administrator.
