How to specify who can edit or create entries in the Lotus Notes calendar
Access can be given to the Lotus Notes calendar so that others can create and edit entries. Those who are given this access can read, create, edit, and delete calendar entries on the user's behalf, but they cannot read, create, edit or delete and other documents in the mail file. For information on how to allow only read access to the calendar, see Eureka! document 16054 — How to give Read access to the calendar in Lotus Notes.
To allow others to create and edit entries in the Lotus Notes calendar:
Open the Lotus Notes calendar.
Click the Tools button and select Preferences... from the drop down list.
In the Author and Editor Access section, do one of the following:
Click OK.
The people listed now have access to create and edit entries in the calendar.
