How to specify who can read the free time schedule in Lotus Notes
A user's free time schedule is available for everyone to view so that it can be used to determine availability for meetings. Access to the free time schedule may be limited so that only select people or groups can view it.
To limit who can view the free time schedule:
Open the Lotus Notes calendar.
Click the Tools button and select Preferences... from the drop down list.
Click the Free Time tab.
Allow only these people to view my Free Time information: Click the down-arrow to select the individuals or groups of those who should be able to view the free time schedule from the PeopleSoft Directory.
Click OK.
Access to the free time schedule will now be limited to those names or groups added.
Reading the free time schedule allows people to see when someone is busy or has free time, but does not allow the calendar to be seen. It is different from allowing someone to read the calendar. For additional information, see Eureka! document 16054 — How to give Read access to the calendar in Lotus Notes.
