Cannot save Process Modeler attachments
Note: This document and the resolution applies to Internet Explorer version 5.5 ONLY. It does not apply to Internet Explorer 6. This issue so far applies mainly to the EDPM intranet site models.
Symptom: The difficulty you are experiencing is that when viewing a Process Modeler model on the web, you cannot save an attachment file. The attachment just launches in the same Internet Explorer 5.5. window and you have no way to save the file.
Cause: The file associations for the files you are viewing are not set by default in such a manner that you can save the files.
Resolution: You can set this file association file manually, but you must set it for EACH type of file that you might launch from Process Modeler. There is a registry utility available on Eureka! that will change your file associations such that any file you access via a link on Internet Explorer will ask you if you wish to Save or Open the file. Click on a link below for more information:

all links to files hat you click in Internet Explorer to ask if you wish to

Utility - suppress the Open or Save screen
If you have run the utility above to turn on the Open or Save screen, you can turn off the effects of utility and your computer will go back to the state it was in before you ran the utility. If you are still getting the Open or Save screen for some files, you will have to change your options manually. See Eureka! document 19018 — Restore prompt to choose location of file download for more information. To suppress the changes made by the utility above, follow the instructions below:
Close all sessions of Internet Explorer except the one you are using to read this document.
When prompted select Save this file to Disk.
Save the file to a convenient location, such as your downloads folder or the Windows desktop.
