The difficulty you are experiencing is that the main BackWeb screen appears when you boot up your newly built machine. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Close the BackWeb screen so that it doesn't appear on your screen now.

2. Click on Start-> Programs -> Startup.

3. You should see a BackWeb icon in that group.

4. Right-click on the icon.

5. Choose P roperties from the pop-up menu.

6. A BackWeb Properties screen should appear. Click here for a screenshot:

7. On the Shortcut tab, at the end of the Target field, you should see the characters " -ui".

• They may be a little hard to see - you can remove the blue highlighting by clicking anywhere in that field.

8. Delete those 3 characters ( -ui) from the end of the Target field. Do not delete any other characters.

9. Click OK.

The screen should not longer appear when you boot up.
