You should change your password for NorthStar from the default as soon as you are able to log in to NorthStar. To change your NorthStar client password, follow these steps:

1. Launch NorthStar and log in.

2. Click on the File menu, and then choose Set Pass word.

3. Type in your current password.

4. Type in your new password and confirm it.

5. Click OK.

Your password are changed. Use the new password the next time you log into NorthStar.

NorthStar is not affected by the corporate requirement to change your network password every 90 days, but you should use the timing of that password change as an opportunity to use consistent security strategy and change the NorthStar password regularly as well.
